Restaurants are bleeding, and the people holding them up deserve better. The post-pandemic realities present more obstacles than solutions and we all see the closures, one after the next. The challenges that arise in a rapidly changing environment require equally nimble tools to meet the new landscape as it shifts.

This industry, and the people who make it happen, deserve intentional infrastructure that supports, connects, and stabilizes their work.

What we are: A centralized hub for finding and creating Portland pop-ups, events, and collaborations. A behind-the-scenes communication network to connect, create and promote the experiences that make this city worth showing up for.

Tools like this exist for the consumer, but not for the makers. Before events make it to the ‘not-to-miss lists’, there are handshake deals, agreements, informal contracts, a million to-do lists, matching assets to needs that shift from place to place, team to team. Then comes the task of promotion — vying for visibility through the noise of social media stories and posts.

So many people and places want to participate but don’t know where to start, and it’s not hard to see why. Missed opportunities for those who are already stretched thin can cost livelihoods and mean the difference of lights staying on. It’s time to match the creativity and grit on the front end and not relegate ourselves to fair-weather fandom.

The List PDX is two fold: a public event finder and a member-driven industry marketplace where the process is streamlined. Connect. Create. Promote. By the industry, for the industry.
